DELTA SIGMA HISTORY
Delta Delta Delta has a long-standing tradition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Our Delta Sigma chapter has more than 150 members. Our members are truly involved in all areas of campus life, excelling in academics, leadership and campus involvement.
The Delta Sigma chapter was founded at the University of Tennessee in 1923. Our chapter is home to distinguished Deltas such as Dixie Carter, Peyton Wright Lambton, and Ellie Holcomb. Delta Sigma began as a local chapter called Alpha Lambda.
